We are fascinated by the idea to re-live history and to make bygone times accessible to all senses. If you want to support our idea and the Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov, we offer you numerous ways to do so:
1. Join the construction works and become a part of the Geschichtspark team
No matter if you want to join us as an individual person or a group, everybody can contribute to the project. Many tasks are rather time-consuming than difficult and can be done by everybody. Still, accomplished craftsmen will be present to do or instruct the more difficult carpentry work. The construction is managed by archaeological technicians and archaeologists in order to ensure that everything is realised in a scientifically proven way.
2. Become a member of the Via Carolina Society.
A project like the Geschichtspark is impossible without the active and financial support of many volunteers. This is the task of the Via Carolina Society which also constitutes the framework for volunteer work in development and future maintenance of the Geschichtspark Bärnau-Tachov.

3. Support us with donations in tools or material (wood, clay, straw etc.)
The mediaeval houses are all built from natural materials. Concerning wood, especially oaks are important as they guarantee a high durability of the buildings. The willows are used to wattle the walls of the houses which are then faced with clay. Do you have any of those materials and would like to donate them? Just contact our Project Office.
4. Support us with donations in money
As a non-profit society we are dependent on support and donations. In addition to EU-funds from Objective 3 (Euregio Egrensis), we can count on many other partners as well who support us extensively and therefore contribute to a large amount to the realisation of the Geschichtspark.
